Ratatouille!

As a company, we're all heading out to see Ratatouille in about 20 minutes. I can't wait -- the rough cut I saw in November had very little finished animation, so I'm psyched to see the finished product.

Anyone else see it? What'd you think?

See, a co-worker brought in doughnuts this morning, and I was all like, "This office has great morale boosters!"

Jealousy is unseemly, jealousy is unseemly, jealousy is unseemly.....

I heard a review of Ratatouille this morning; the reviewer said that it was a terrific movie first, and a beautifully animated movie second. It sounds wonderful, and I can't wait to see it!

If it makes you feel any better, Friday is normally donut day - "saturated fat greases the imagination!" - but the donut-bringer is out sick. We were hoping for donuts AND movie, darn it.

...wait, that doesn't make you feel better.

The movie was great. Even after working with the property for a year and having read the script, I loved it.

Screw that noise. Movie and a game with Gary? Propriety be damned, far better to be indecorous and jealous than have my head explode trying to hide it :P

Oh, I see what they did there. It's about a rat and set in a restaurant where the rat wants to be a chef. But he's a rat. Ratatouille! Which is the title but also the name of a food dish. I see. How do they do that?

Subtitles, then? :)

During the flush times at one company we took the day off when Monsters Inc. came out and saw it as a team.

I [heart] Marketing!

One of my co-workers took the day off yesterday to go see "Rat" as well with his kids.

Could you imagine that Pixar, deciding that the movie needed an additional gimick, released it in the US in French with English subtitles?!?
