This one should be interesting.

For me, I give it a 5. My main problem with the module is that too many people have read the Dragonlance story. Everytime I have tried to run them, someone pops up and says, "oh, but this is supposed to happen". This really annoys me.

On the other hand, I think that if I could find a group who had not read the books, it would be quite fun. This could be a tough thing to do though.

I gave it a 5 spot. I didn't have all of them either, but did have the first few. When we played it our group had of course been reading the Chronicles and wanted to play it just like it was supposed to have happened for the most part. That and the fact there was way too much meta-gaming about how things were supposed to proceed. It was a decent series, just overshadowed in my gaming group at the time by the novels.

This will all end in tears.

Can I just make a note here that the series isn't any more railroaded than modern adventure path/module series, and then leave it there? OK. Good.

Cheers,
Cam

I disagree. OK? Good.

I gave it a three. It was the least-favorite series of adventures I have ever DMed, and none of my players had read any of the books. It had some cool ideas, but it just wasn't any fun.

I gave it a 10, despite the fact that it needs some TLC to be non-railroady and to surprise PCs who read the books.

Why? Cause most adventures need some TLC in my experience, and the modules really are great.

Despite some of what I've read about them, they contain many adventures glossed over during the books and thus there isnt as big a problem with spoilers as you'd think.

Plus, Lord Soth, one of my favorite villains ever and a great use of the Death Knight.

As I felt the need to add a few touches of my own, I gave them an 8. I think that the Dragonlance (DL) modules make for a great campaign. As my long running DL campaign nears its end, I think that my players will remember these modules fondly.
