Phantom Menace was also supposed to be entertaining, shame it wasn't.

Actually I'm going by what I have read in Tarantino interviews and websites on Kill Bill. Did I not post enough direct quotes in the other Kill Bill thread? Kill Bill was supposed to be nostalgic for people who like 70's B action movies. It's one of those things that you either get or you don't. If I said Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was too unrealistic because the car didn't fly right I'd be missing the point of the movie. Look I don't care if anybody else liked the movie or not I just found it odd for somebody to say the fight scenes were to unrealistic in a movie that was made to be unrealistic.

I gave it a 9. It can't get a 10 because it's not finished, but I'll revisit my ranking after Volume 2 comes out. It was darn near perfect, though.

I'm with barsoomcore on this one. Every scene was just perfect.
