Rate the Races

I like humans the best. I like customizaiton for one thing so mechanically they are my favorite. But heck in earlier editions I primarily played humans even when they sucked. I don't think the the best race mechanically, they make great generalists decent at everything, but you other races are usualyl better in their specialty.

I put elves as most hated. 2e is largely responsible but I'm not happy with 3e, not happy with the the sub-races(for any race IMO do it for all or none), the hey were good nazis, or the we sneak around and kill things in their sleep and its ok, but a goblin does it and he's a cowardly evil thing, and i hate the trance crap especially how its not even listed as a bennie when its a huge bennie. I hate elven names, the list goes on.

I figure a half breed of either sort should either be of that race, or Human. Perhaps Humans could have a new feat (that would have to be purhcased at first level) to represent Elf or Orc lineage.

IMC Half-Elves and Half-Orcs are both considered 'Human' and are members of Human communities (when allowed to live)
The idea of the Feat is a good one that I might just introduce FEAT: Orc-Blood, FEAT: Elf-Blood

Using the feats opens it up so that making a half-bread is easy. You could have x-blood feats for every humanoid race. I think that would be really cool.
