Ravenloft Boardgame?

I was interested in this, but the mention of Dragonborn as one of the characters just kind of turned me around a little. That doesn't seem quite appropriate for what I thought was going to be a gothicy horror game. For those that played it, does it play like Heroquest, Betrayal at House on the Hill, a 4e game, or something else?

Something else.

It's fun. They touch on the 4E roles a bit and you can choose different powers like in 4E, but there are only a couple of choices so it's not real in-depth and they give you suggestions for which powers to have if you don't want to mess around with it.

Well, unfortunately it was NOT for sale at Gencon. Girl at the counter said it wasn't available yet.

Didn't make it to a demo, though a buddy of mine tried. He got turned away because they weren't ready when he went.

I personally really like the click together tiles, is there a product like that out there? Not necessary 3d just click together cardboard tiles of dungeons, wilderness and towns.

Played a demo game at GenCon. I was the rogue.

Was kinda let down with how "simplified" 4e had become in the game. The game seemed to be very similar to Warhammer Quest except without all the out-of-the-dungeon tables and wackiness.

I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone unless they had no way to play 4e and absolutely HAD to have a taste of it. Otherwise I think there are much better dungeon crawling games out there.
