Yeah, I did. Let me grub around once I get home tonight and see if I can come up with the changes I made.

I ran it as a d20 Modern game, set in 1803 Roumania, with an arrogant English nobleman proving that "there's no such thing as vampires!"

Good fun.

Thanks. As classic as this module is I figured someone had to have done something 3e with it by now.

Thank you. That works perfectly. Just I need Strahd to be higher level, which is something I have already done. If you ever need Strahd written up as a CR24 (or was that 23?) let me know.

Count Strahd von Zarovich's 3.0 stat's appear in Ravenloft Gazeteer Volume I from Sword & Sorcery. (They also appear in Secrets of the Dread Realms, but the Gazetteer stats are updated and revised from that version; don't even bother with the version of Strahd from Dragon #315).

His listed CR is 24, but his levels are capped at 20 (Ftr4/Nec16), since Gazetteer I was printed before the Epic Level Rules were available. To be completely faithful to Strahd as presented in past editions, I'd recommend adding another 10 levels of Fighter, as Strahd was a general and renowned warrior in his mortal life.

Also, Gazetteer I takes into account Ravenloft's vampire advancement rules, as well as providing tons of information on Barovia (Strahd's realm), the Village of Barovia, and so forth (including NPCs from I6).

(I admit it - I freelanced on Ravenloft Gazetteer Volume I; Barovia and Strahd weren't my parts though.)
