[Ravenloft]Suitable home domain for an Evil Monk

We're going to play an evil Ravenloft campaign and I decided to play a Monk.

Now where would a monk come from in the Mists? Is there a Domain that has an asian touch, or one that has a notable monastery?

Keep in mind a monk doesn't have to be Asian. I consider myself a monk (sorta how a Mormon is a Presbyter; I'm Taoist), and I'm the most Germanic guy ever.

Anyway - maybe you could just stylize him as a brawler, or just a focused, body-based boxer?

I'd like him to be a proper martial-artist-like monk.

I would like to give him a little asian flair, too (the whole "you dishonored my family" stuff ), as I was just reading the Clan War again and am going to read the Four Winds again.

Is ther eany Domain with a Rokugan-like flair to it or one where monks are common?

Rokushima Taiyoo is Japan-esque. Monks are also quite common in, of all places, Paridon, the Victorian London domain. Although there, they're followers of the Divinity of Mankind "religion" (think Freemasonry).

I hadn't heard of this domain until the RLDMG came out. It'sounds like a great mini campain world.

Not to get OT, but Mormon's are nowhere near Presbyters.

Edit: Actually, I was thinking Protestants, not Presbyeters. Never mind...I think.
