Ravenshead, a Unisystem Buffy game [Full, Attention Kalanyr]

If I do direct, then I'd stop recruiting with Kain, since 6 is probably all I can handle, lol.

Assuming I do direct, what type of game would everyone perfer?

Single hero with white hats, all heroes? All inexperienced or all experienced?

Also, age levels-do you perfer a highschool type game as Buffy was in the beginning or college (around season 4+), or more mature?

I think I'd prefer a high school age, but like I said, I still need to get the book, I've only drooled over it in the store.

Waiting to start the game is fine with me.

I'd prefer to just go whether experienced (all experienced heroes) or not (heros and white hats, however various peoples concepts turn out)

BTW, Kalanyr - I didn't mean to say you HAVE to have a tight grasp of the rules to be an effective GM/DM/Director, I merely meant that I'm not comfortable running a game myself unless I'm very familiar with the rules.

So will it be Kalanyr or Sollir Directing?

OK, I've changed my mind. I'll throw my hat into the potential Director ring.

If I Direct, I'd rather run the game on the GoAndRoleplay.com boards. It's a good place for TV style games, as you get to set up your own forum.

As far as the game itself goes, I've got two concepts. Tell me what you think of them.

Concept 1: Start out in Sunnydale, at the beginning of Season One. But Buffy, Xander, Willow and Giles don't exist in this Sunnydale. The PCs will replace the show's central cast, but the rest of the population of Sunnydale will remain in place. The first Episode (and Season) will roughly follow the story line of Season One, but may well change dramatically due to PC actions. This will require a fair separation of in character and out of character knowledge, at least initially.

Concept 2: Start with the adventure from the core rule book, and see where things go from there. If I go with this option, I'll be setting the game just after Season Five, and in a different location to Sunnydale.

For either concept, I'd have the same cast requirements: A Slayer, a Watcher, and some Scooby types. I'd also want White Hats to equal or outnumber Heroes.

And, as Sollir said, I'd not be recruiting for more players. Six is plenty to start with :)
