Well, thanks all. I have a clearer idea on how to play Underdark races. Although it might be the "correct" way to portray the dark elves, I find that hostility bring violence consequently, less roleplaying. And CotSQ doesn't have many roleplaying moments.
Besides, the players have no idea how to play evil characters. When I give them the opportunity to do something incredibly evil, they don't do it. For example, when they arrived in Szith Morcane, the party needed some place to rest. None of them really wanted to sleep in cold caves, but there aren't any inns in the outpost. After a few minutes, I grew tired of waiting and proposed that they take some commoner's house and kill whoever lived in it. They looked at me with big outraged eyes and asked "We can do that?!". Of course you can, you're drow.
