Reality Blurs: Open Call for Writers and Artists

razorwise

First Post
Hello All.

We're a game design studio located in Memphis, Tennessee and have a lot of great stuff already lined up for next year. Our focus is primarily on Savage Worlds and Mutants & Masterminds products, but we're constantly exploring other avenues.

This isn't intended as a product pitch, but to give you some idea of the direction I have in store for the company: content rich, genre-bending campaign settings and assorted source materials. Examples include RunePunk(tm) and Katana: Samurai Steampunk(tm) that are already in the works as well as Capes & Spandex: Asylum(tm). We intend to have all products in our main lines full-color hardback on glossy paper similar to the standards you've seen among other major companies.

We'll explore external ideas and alternate system proposals for viability on a case-by-case basis, but we're certainly not adverse to entering the PDF market.

We've spent the last 5 months gearing things up for a great 2005!

Check the website for more details and we'll take it from there. (Or look for us at GenCon this coming week!)

Wow, small world after all. I can't remember if I met you Sean, or somebody else from your company, but we both attended the seminar about how to start your own electronic game company. I remember someone wearing a badge with Reality Blurs written on it. :) I was sitting almost directly across from Marc, wearing my Blue Devil Games shirt.

Hope you had a great Gencon!

Why? I like .rtf.

Me too! I think .pdfs, while great in many ways, can be over used. They take longer to download, and my computer is so old that just opening Reader takes a minute and a half.

Hiya!

I don't think we talked, but that was me sitting to the left of Marc during that particular seminar.

I did note the shirt, but didn't have an opportunity to speak with you afterward as I had mislaid my notebook that I had been diligently scribbling in all weekend.

I really enjoyed the trip and had an opportunity to meet some really good folks.

Additionally, I appreciate everyone's interest in their submissions and I'm currently going through them, so keep 'em coming.

I'll have to live with the RTFs as it seems to be kinder and gentler to some folks bandwidth. ;)

Regards,

Sean

Do you have any products that you are working on where you need writers and artists?

I'll be updating the website with our product releases that we announced at GenCon in the next day or so. Please stand by as I just got back last night! :D

Regards,

Sean

Sean,

I visited your website and sent you a question about the contact process. I am rally intrigued by your posts and your company sounds great.

I am interested in an artwork position, but you do not have a seperate art contact form... nor was I entirely clear how you wanted the form submitted.

Would you like a scan of the form completed and emailed to you? (since it asks for a signature)
or
Would you like a completed copy saved in .rtf and emailed back to you? (without the signature)
or
Would you like a hardcopy mail to you?
