Okay I have been listening to a lot of Celine Dion lately and am in the mood for either Titanic or Brigette Jones's Diary 2: The Edge of Reason. I have never seen Titanic on DVD before, so is it worth it to see this over the other, which I have never seen before.

Well if you have a good av system, Titanic IS a tremendous spectacle. BJD2, from what I've heard is an "Eh." sequel. But if you liked the original it probably won't prove unpleasant.

A few years back, they did a week-long film festival at the theatre near me. I saw 33 movies in 7 days, pretty much living there. The 5-song loop they played between movies had 'My Heart Will Go On'. If I never, never, ever hear that song again, it will be too soon. It sucked to being with...by the end of the week it was just torture.

I despise that song, too, and I've never even seen Titanic. But, Sarah Brightman has a very good cover of that song on her album Eden. It's in Italian and called Il Mio Cuore Va. (I've actually found I like songs better when I don't understand the words. Let's me focus on the sounds (vocals) and not be distracted by sappy and/or retarded lyrics.)

Titanic, because it's like Star Wars: ROTS, without lightsabers and jedi and puppets

(According to George Lucas, anyway. I haven't seen either, yet)
