Whatever it was... ENWorld is faster now. Or simply devoid of people slowing it...

I guess ENWorld simply sputtered and stuttered due to D&DE.

Was slow as molasses when I was able to log in, but it seems normal now.

Must've happened while I was asleep, because it was fine when I got up today. Expect we were just overwhelmed with traffic.

Well the slowness before the shutdwon, between 5 and 6 was me backing up the databases. I then went to copy the enworld backup to the dev area to form a new dev mirror - the box completed the copy and apparently died - I gave up by 10 and drove home to Kentucky where I do not have any programming equipment to work with. Apparently at 11 it came back up. Odd.
