Recommend good back issues of Dragon

For those of us who will have incomplete Dragon subscriptions when they stop publishing, one of the things Piazo has mentioned they'll do is give subscribers back issues to make up for the current issues they paid for. Assuming we're allowed to pick which issues we want (which I'm guessing will be the case, but they'll probably have a limited supply), what ones would you recommend?

Awayfarer and I just started our subscription recently, so we only have the latest three issues (I forget the numbers and I'm not at home at the moment). We're sad that there will be no more, but we'll be satisfied as long as we get our full 12 issues, new or not.

So what issues of Dragon were your favorites?

Huh, does nobody have any favorite Dragon issues, or did this just drop off the list in the mass of other posts yesterday?

So what were your favorite articles, and what issues were they in? If you had to burn all of your copies of Dragon except one, which one would you save?

I'd say 316, the campaign classics one for the 3.x era. Most of my faves where early 90's, under Roger Moore, however...

#318: pirates in history, the ninja class, 12 new dinosaurs, content for Hollow World setting, an introduction to the Warforged, and the 3.5 update to Oriental Adventures. Plus a Zagonia that goes on for 6 pages!

I'll echo 318. I've also recently rediscovered 313 with the half-undead templates.
