Er, where'd you get this info? General consensus online (Gamestop, Best Buy, NWVault) is Oct. 31.

I was at my local EB store just this past Wednesday and I was talking to one of the managers who has been very reputable over the years on information release dates. I asked her about how I heard the October 17th date of NWN2 release was delayed until early November and she informed me it is now November 28th.

First it was September, then October 17 and now I hear of October 31 as well as November 4 and the 28th. I hope she was wrong and it is October 31 but with so many dates thrown around who knows anymore...

Do you have any idea of the requirements? My system's running at 3.5 Ghz, with 1 gig RAM, and a GeForce 7600 series vidcard.

You should be ok with this set-up as long as you are not running a large widescreen monitor.

Gothic III should be good, if they managed to remove most of the bugs (as they promised :)), before the release.

I enjoyed Gothic 2 but found combat to be somewhat cumbersome if I remember right. I think it was fairly difficult to move and attack at the same time.

What?!

When did NWN2 get pushed back *another* month? I mean... well... this is technically good news for me personally, but still, it's not good!

( There is a play I want to go to at the end of November, and with my finite funds, I think I can afford either the game or the play, but not both. This means that I can at least be sure of whether I am going to have a chance to go to the play before I choose. )

Did you play Jade Empire on the Xbox? It's coming out on the PC relatively soon. (I'm at home, and I'm not sure if we're allowed to say exactly when as of yet.)

If you played it on the Xbox, you've played it. :) But if you haven't, it's got updated (and pretty rockin') graphics and monsters that got cut from the Xbox version for memory reasons, and it looks pretty darn sweet. Far sweeter, frankly, than "port of an eighteen-month-old game" implies. Since, really, it's not that.

Update: The whole NWN2 thing with date release, as tancejeremy rightly states it; EB just told me yesterday the release date is October 31st but they won't have it out until November 1st at the earliest. Another month delay... ;)
