Recommend Win98SE DVD burning software to me...

Generaly, almost any dual layer burner will do you well, so aim to spend $30 or less before shiping if you can.

This Is a slightly newer version of the one I have, that's served me well for over 2 years. NEC makes a good one, and it's silver (about the only one I could find)

If you're worried about color:
Beige
Black
White
Two-tone

Keep in mind, most of those are OEM, but many included burning packages are junk. If you need included software, look for a Retail package, and expect to spend $5-10 more.

As for inexpensive DVD burners, offhand in terms of "brand names" I have used ones by Everex and have not had problems with them.

But Bront's suggestions are also good.

Warren123: The Sony DRU-830A is the one I bought, actually. The install was easy, and while I don't know how well it burns yet, the playback works great. I bought mine from Best Buy... I think it was $69.99 (don't have my receipt in front of me right now).

Mycanid: Oh, huh! I've actually used CDBurner XP Pro in the past and found it all right, IIRC, but I didn't realize it burned DVDs, too. I'll have to check that out as well. :)

Peace & Luv, Liz
