That depends alot on your characters stats and your style of play.
My tips are:
If you lack dex and have str -large weapons, or two large ones. (size, does count.)
Its certainty to hit vs. More attacks.
(more attacts usually is the better choice, but *drains* your feats which in itself is bad...)
If you have high dex-characters with only moderate str, hold the line & combat reflexes is niiice with 10 feet threat range.
(and crank up your attacks of oppurtunity by every source available.)
My favourite:
Combat ref, Hold the line, improved trip, knockdown.
(chains are good for this, as is larger size character.)
Basicly: wearing 'em down vs. One-shot-one-kill & Alot of feats to use your chosen weapon(s) vs Feat combo for a specific design.
