I voted for Tymandeau, but Scandaj is a close second ;)

Both are very cool and genres I enjoy the most. I have a life-long love of the Norse mythos as evidenced by my user name, and spent two summers ago reaquinting myslef with the Three Musketeers, reading all 5 books.

Fascinating--after early strength for Amaranthia and then Scandaj, Tymadeau takes a come-from-behind lead (from 1 top choice when Scandaj already had 4 to 7 now and Scandaj has 6). But Scandaj has a runner-up vote that might go to it from Xarata, and Xarata has tons of runner-ups that could come to it if it knocks out a higher contender.

I'm excited about any of these--in fact, I have multiple ideas for some of the worlds.

For those who are fans of the Norse mythos--I should be clear in case the expectations are different from what the setting is like: there are references and similarities, but the mythos is not exactly the same. Also, Scandaj already had its Ragnarok, so there are no gods that have survived, at least that have made themselves known. The few survivors barely remember the stories of the gods as distant myths--remnants even more tattered than what we have in the real world today of Norse mythology (because for us, written records survived), and any who tried to explore further and become clerics met with nothing but failure. It's really cool, and an interesting twist!

Yeah, but they have Skalds and Bezerkers!

They rock even if they don't Ragnarok.

Even without the mythos, what I had gathered is the outlook on life is similar, the warrior culture, the bleak landscape, the helmets with horns.

Norse-inspired is still closer to Norse than most of fans us get in a typical game. I'll take what I can get.

And I apologize for the bad pun above. ;)

Agreed! Though I had been kinda looking forward to the Mythos, I'd take the warrior culture and Horny Helmet's.

Lots of good ideas here. I voted for Tymandeau as the most appealing to me personally, but almost any of the games sound fun. A strong second for me would be Vanarca.
