Recylcing (settings, plots, adventures)?

Yeah. I've rerun the same adventures & campaigns with different groups. They only been generally the same, though, & I've recreated the details. (Usually because I didn't have my old notes handy when the group decided they wanted me to run something, so I had to work from memory.) Yes, the previous experience has helped make the recycled version better in some ways.

I regret, though, never having built a single, on-going campaign world. That's something I really want to do.

Nope, you guys were SPECIAL in that regard. Comforting I'm sure. ;)

"Short bus" special, you mean.

And, RFisher, creating a world is what I really want to do. In fact, I have two major ideas, which are rather incompatible with one another. If I find a group that wants a traditional flavor, I'll revsit my old campaign. If they are willing to try something a little different, I have Grim Tales game in mind.

My only concern with recycling materials is that I would get tired of things. But each group would bring something fresh, new, and challenging to the setting and adventures, so that would keep me on my toes.
