basically different metals give you different colors. some crystals can be ground this way too.
also, mason stains can be used to subtly alter paints.
OR get some copper bitties form the tumbler, paint your copper dragon, clear=caot and sprinkle on little bitties. pour on weak vinegar solution and TADA! you have a patina-ed copper dragon in that inimitable green.
