Pump the sacrificial victims full of poison then render them immune to it, so it effects the monster that eats them...

I wanted to say you needed to work on the order of your recommendations (pump them full of poison, THEN make them immune?). But then I noticed they were going to be eaten anyway, so I guess it makes no difference if the poison kills them first...

They have to be alive long enough to fool the dragon and get eaten...

How can a Red Dragon tell if they're virgins or not?

Or, if shapechangers are options (Silver dragon, Changelings, Dopplegangers, etc.) Elves for that matter? or Women?

What are the mechanics of this soul pact? If you do not fulfill your vow, instant death, because the Dragon has that power bound to you. Does it work in reverse? Do you guys have any magical influence over this Evil creature? Is there a way to research into this pact? Can you creatively research some sort of feedback loop that would kill the Dragon if you die, or allows something else?

How about selling/binding your soul to a good creature more powerful than the dragon? Sort of what John Constantine did in Hellblazer in the 90's? Where neither of the big guys wants to let you die because they would both have to fight over you, so it would be in both of thier interests to keep you alive.

The mechanics of the pact are basically that we each have to fulfill our end of the deal. He has to give me information, spare my life and allow me travel free of fear throughout the swordcoast. I have to bring him the virgins and two gems we have to use them both once an the will give them back. Then our bond will disappear. If either of us does not follow the bond we die. He has fulfilled his side and I actually just acquired the help of 7 priestesses of a goddess of the moon. So All I really need now is some sort of tactic in defeating him.I dont want to kill the elves or sacrifice them. All the deal stated was that I bring the elves to him. We never agreed that they had to be peaceful or unarmed.

If that is the letter of the agreement...

All you need to do is be targeted and fail a Saving Throw against a Fear Effect.

A 1st level caster can kill your dragon ;). By the letter of the Bond, which is all that matters, he cannot uphold his bargain if you have suffered a fear effect... Ever. Sadly you cannot cast the Fear on yourself... Unless you can figure out a way for Cause Fear to interact with YOUR space... :).

Your DM should learn how to phrase bargains better... :(.

Is there any way to use @Loonook 's idea or otherwise trick the Dragon into being unable to uphold his end?
