I find it ironic that my post about a feature that seems designed to prevent double-posts resulted in a double-thread

(I deleted the other one.)

I wonder why it doesn't always work, though? Where do double-posts come from, if that check is in place?

Truth is, I've never seen that screen before!

That screen prevents the same post to be posted withing 30 seconds. I imagine double posts ahappen when people have to wait longer and keep hitting the post reply button.

It's not the "Two posts within thirty seconds" screen. I see that one all the time.

It's the "Identical post within five minutes" screen. Never seen it before.

I've seen it once before, and I've seen the "identical in 30 seconds screen" quite a lot. It's not new to me, but I never thought anything of it.
