IIRC most of the 5e adventure books are ahead of Pathfinder books on Amazon, even some of the old ones.
It's hard to look at those numbers and think "I bet they are going to release 6th Edition soon."That's unfreakingbelievable that the core three for 5e are still that high. Wow.

Agreed. That’s why a 5.5 edition would be more likely. But yeah they are solid right now. It's hard to look at those numbers and think "I bet they are going to release 6th Edition soon."
Me too. If nothing else, I've played some PF adventures in 5e. They're a good company, with high quality content. And strong competition is good for the marketplace in general.Even though I play 5e and not PF2 I really would have loved for PF2 to be much closer to 5e. Could have been interesting. Oh well.
I doubt Paizos direct sales makes much of an impact on the Amazon numbers. I do agree we don’t have solid figures and probably never will. So maybe they do.Me too. Though, it should be mentioned again that we really don't know what PF sales are. We just know what their sales are on Amazon, and how many virtual tabletop games are listed as PF on the major platforms, and what their sales roughly look like from retail before Covid shut down most stores. Which is meaningful data, but it's not everything. Particularly since that data excludes their direct sales, which are also meaningful.

For a bright shinning moment it was Call of CthulhuI'd like to see something other than A Slightly Different Way To Cast Magic Missile take the #2 slot.
