D&D 5E Released content

There is rarely anything coming out, only the unearthed arcana material. I assume this will all be put into a book at a point or another, but when?
Is there a plan to release anything this year except the adventures?

They have teased here and there about releasing UA content after it is more play-tested.

Some part of Swordcoast legends may have actually come from UA?

In any case, its mostly teasing right now.

I actually enjoy not having more rules content released. Adding new or different rules for the sake of book sales gets old. I'd kind of like to see the old 1990's Boxed Sets revisited, though. Three full-campaign adventures so far is kind of neat, but their kind of spotty on the quality and actual content, not to mention the constant focus on FR is getting a bit old. I'd love to see some variety.

Or give us some smaller books that, instead of going from 1-15+ are meant to span 4 or 5 levels. I honestly expected more of this based on the "Tiers of Play" section in the PHB. Unfortunately, it's looking like the intention is to release licensed campaigns that are designed with organized seasonal play in mind.

I think it is quite unnecessary to release scores of books. However, it would be nice to get the fixes hinted such as the new Ranger, some Sorcerrer archetype to bring it on pair and basically buffs to all the achetypes that are way below the rest of the class, like Four Elements, Pact of the Blade and so on. Favorite stuff like Zen Archer and Treekeeper or whatever have people played a LOT wouldn't be bad either.

I would quite like to see more subclasses (especially for Bard, though that's motivated in part by having two in my current party, which makes the choice of two colleges seem somewhat limited). And more backgrounds, though those are less pressing being easier to homebrew/find fan content.
