Looks like everyone is a druggie. So I guess that makes it ok. I had alot of respect for Her, Not now.
If she actualy turned it around, then perhaps you should have respect for her.

Not everyone is an angel, and I'm sure you've done some things in your past that you're ashamed of but have moved past. At least she's admitting it, even if it's not up front. And given everything that happened, I can't blame her for not telling the public that initialy.

Seeing how someone very close to me is a recovering addict, and my last LTR ended becuse I found out she was doing drugs, I have a very negitive view of people that do drugs. Its a trigger for me. I have seen first hand what they can do. All the users try to justify it, but drugs destroy and kill.

i thought she just screwed him to get himself to give up.

but whatever. either way it was obvious from the local stories she wasn't an angel.

Looks like the enounter shook her up enough to give it a real shot to quit for good. Let's hope she does!

Ken if you are close to a recovering addict, you should know first hand how difficult it is. Plus, the fact that she's writing about it in her book tells you something.

And speaking first hand myself, being very very close to a recovering addict you should cut her some slack.

It really isn't fair to treat an addict as if they have some sort of moral failing. Drug addiction, either physical or psychological, is damned hard to deal with. The monkey is tenacious, dude, and you shouldn't look down on those who haven't been able to shake it.

And giving her captor drugs? Sounds like a plan to me - keep your life and just maybe get him stoned off his gourd and make your escape.

If she was a meth user it makes sense that wouldn't have any pot. Pot is too tame for a meth addict.
the reason she didn't have custody of her kid.

she held the father of her child as he died from a knife wound... in a failed drug exchange.

Quote from someone I met at a punk show years ago:

"I don't smoke pot. It takes away from my RAGE!"
