Removing refresh of maneuvers from martial adepts

For me this would be the difference of tracking four maneuvers with four piles of cards: stances, readied maneuvers, expended maneuvers, and unreadied maneuvers (in case I use Adaptive Style), or 7 maneuvers with a single pile of cards (stances) and a list that I check off as I use maneuvers.

He could prepare two strikes that do relatively similar things. But that's not necessarily a good idea. What if he ends up facing an enemy with a fairly high armor class that he can't hit very well with insightful strike or mountain hammer? And what able keeping iron heart surge on hand?

This eases up a little at high levels, but nevers seems to completely go away for the warblade.
But how would it help, then? So you face a foe that's tough to hit, and you mean to use Emerald Razor. You do so ONCE. Then you can't recover it. Then you spend the rest of the fight flailing away and barely hitting. Or - you face a gaggle of mooks. You use Mithral Tornado, then Steel Wind, then, well, you can't recover them, so you slug it out with the mooks for a long time afterward, as the BBEG continues to nuke you with spells or arrows from a distance and the horde of mooks keeps you bogged down.

If your attack routines are predictable, it's because you choose one maneuver for each situation. And if the rest of your maneuvers are less worthwhile than a full-attack in any given battle, why not just do full-attacks? You've still got stances and the counters or boosts held in reserve to make you different from a plain ole Fighter or Barbarian. And you don't always have to keep a counter in reserve; the DM isn't going to bother much with throwing Will saves at you if you do, or he's only going to throw them at you in occasional, rapid barrages that will get around the one Moment of Perfect Mind you'll get every other round.

Unlike the wizard the warblade does at least have a sustained attack (...) The wizard in our group usually uses reserve feats
Would you like to revise that first statement?

Not particularly, since the reserve feat is not a standard class feature of the wizard, and when his spells of one type are gone so is the reserve power.

The warblade on the other hand has a full BAB and a few stances as class features, and he can still fight all day.

So it seems that the general opinion is that this change weakens the warblade too much?
