So tell me a story that's accurate that doesnt paint him like everyone else in the list.

Genghis Khan was born into a culture of warring clans and went from poverty and enslavement to a unifier of people into a single nation. He allowed people to maintain their own practices, reorganised his military forces for effeciency and appointed people based on meritocracy, instituted rule of law, practice religious freedom and allowed free flow of ideas, culture and goods across his empire. By creating a fast communication system and series of guard houses along the silk road he linked Asia, Middle Eastern and European trade. He was ruthless in the application of his laws but was also fair in how they were applied.
You'll also find that such figures as Alexander the Great or the Ceasars rarely feature in these list despite them being equally ruthless in their respective imperial ambitions.

Personally, I'd say either all three make the list or none of them. Conquering huge swathes of a continent always come at a significant human cost, regardless of anything else.
