OK, the poll goes one way but for your posting, please note the one movie you have seen the most times in your whole life. I'm going to guess that for me it is It's a Wonderful Life.

Probably Return of the Jedi for me as well. It isn't even in my top 3 Star Wars films any more but my gosh did I watch and rewatch that movie growing up. The Falcon skimming along the surface of a Star Destroyer, Scout Walkers marching through dense forest, Speeder Bikes, the Sarlacc Pit, the swelling music as Luke goes off on Vader. Nothing was cooler. And now with Revenge of the Sith its even better.

As far as movies I've seen the most in an actual movie theater, they are:

Fellowship of the Ring (8 times)
Terminator 2 (7 times)
Aladdin (7 times)
Star Wars (ANH) (6 times)

Probably "Charade"

In the theatre, though, the first Star Wars. I saw that 17 times, IIRC.

The first as in the one that was released first, or the first in the chronological sequence? ;)

If it's the one that was released first, that would be my selection too. First movie I ever *paid* to see more than once.

I've seen pretty much all the movies I have on DVD(and its a fairly large collection) so many times its not funny. But that's why I BUY them. If I'm not going to keep watching them and enjoying.

In the theater, though, I'll usually see most good movies at least twice. Things like Star Wars, Spiderman, and other similarly great geek-movies I'll go back any chance I've got. Nothing like seeing a movie on the big screen while its still there.

If I really like a movie I will watch it over and over. I'm not sure what movie I've seen the most though. It would likely be either A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Tombstone, Ghostbusters, or Big Trouble in Little China.

The most? Gosh, I dunno. Probably one of the original Star Wars movies with Raiders of the Lost Ark not too far behind. A good movie, I like to dust off once every few months or so, so yeah, easily 10 or more times.

I really don't know. I've seen the Star Wars OT so many times that I've lost count. I've seen Pulp Fiction, UHF and Clerks an equal number of times or close to it. But the one that I've probably seen the most is Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. It has been in my always revolving Top 5 Favorite Movies Ever since it came out.

The Adventures of Robin Hood with Errol Flynn, Olivia de Haviland, Claude Raines and Basil Rathbone, hands down.

I remember watching this over a dozen times in black and white on tv as a kid. I remember the first time I got to see it in colour and the first time I got to see it on a big screen. I wore out a VHS tape of it and now have the nice, shiny DVD version.

Several years ago I held a viewing of it in honour of my 50th viewing ... okay, it wasn't probably 50 times, but it was awfully high.

I love that film to tears
