Eww what if an Aboleth (Giant Plankton) Colony lived inside the Anemone and that was what was slowly killing the Githyanki?

Hey, do you need anything new for this new Githyanki threat? I have made a few unique outsiders that could be appropriate, but it'll be about a week before I 3.5 update them. I know what you mean about the difficulty of making epic-level monsters.

I would LOVE some.

I've moved into fully embracing epic beasties, and I think I'm liking it. :)

I am currently making Captain Githbert - he is a 16th Sorceror/6 fighter half red dragon. I plan to put the special undead template on him from Lich Queens beloved also.

He will have devastating crit, and will use a heavily enchanted Falchion. He will be dubbed the 'Iron Warlord' since his tactics involve casting iron Body and tensers transformation.

Does this sound ok for your party to possibly fight? He will have a high level crew also.

Ok, these ideas are off the top of my head.....

  • An awakened Megalodon Druid
  • A rift in the ocean floor which leads to the Negative Material Plane, spawning a horde of Vile Water Elementals
  • A "Red Tide" of wild magic which morphs whatever it engulfs
  • An underwater city built on the skeleton of a monstrous leviathan that was once worshipped as a god
  • An armada of surface-dweller slavers who search for "exotic" specimens.
  • A passageway that leads into a Hollow Earth-type subterranean sea filled with albino monstrosities
  • A coral reef castle formed from the bones of the drowned

make the Red Tide an aquatic Nishru from Monsters of Faerun and use the swarm template.

Heh. He sounds excellent. Now that the Gith are no longer restricted, I'm fashioning some new, super-hybrid Giths. Essentially, the Gith are split into three factions, now: the walking wounded who are unable to cope with the loss of the queen, those under the command of the General and those who've given themselves over to the Imposer of Wills. That last faction are the ones who, in the blind rush to acquire power previously not allowed, have submitted themselves to....modification.

For reference to those who may just have scanned the thread, I no longer need aquatic challenges, as that was back in September. The help is appreciated, however.

Right now, I need to focus on monstrosities for the Far Realms. The party has decided to resolve a long-standing problem and rescue the Silvering, and that'll mean some transdimensional weirdness. But superpowered Gith are definitely on the menu.
