You had it easy! We didn't even have numbers. The DM would hit the person with our single character with rocks until he went down! That would be how high we rolled. Then we would throw rocks at the dm until he hid behind his screen!

But if you told young people that nowdays, they'd never believe you.

ObTopic: As fun as playing can be, it can't help but look completely geeky from an observer's POV. Thus, IMHO, any ads featuring reaction shots of players' faces is bound to fail.
