Reverse Polymorph

How can you return to normal when you have been affected by a Baleful Polymorph? Does a Break Enchantment work?

Since the duration is instantaneous I am assuming you can't use Dispel Magic...

The duration for baleful polymorph is Permanent. Dispel magic will dispel it.

The duration isn't instantaneous. It's permanent. Therefore, it can be dispelled.

Break Enchantment could also work, as Baleful Polymorph is a Transmutation spell.

Oops. Not sure why I thought it was Instantaneous... My bad.

Anyways, are there any other options to reversing the effects of polymorph?

And as a second question...for spells with a instantaneous duration, what (if anything) can you do about them - such as a Wall of Stone?

Dispel Magic, Break Enchantment, Wish, Miracle, etc.

Not much. After the spell is cast, that which results from the spell is completely nonmagical. You can't dispell a wall of stone - you need to tunnel through it.

That's where the 1st level Barbarian spells come into play.

No, but you might have come across someone using the Barbarian Music ability to give themself a morale bonus while casting.
