They were these wiry, mean little buggers, who were known to swarm on lone members of the taller races and tear them limb from limb.
Just an obervation. Maybe not a helpful one, but an observation.

F5 You have been warned

DO NOT reveal anymore of our secrets

The GNOMES are watching you....

Want fey? Elves.

Want tech? dwarves.

Want short people? Halflings.

Want stupid little frog-faced dwarf-halfling crosses with birth defects? Gnomes.

Oh please Elves aren't Fey - they are sleep deprived FAIRY sissy-girls blouses with their heads stuck so far up their Nancy-boy CENSORED CENSORED that they can't see the fact that any SANE person despises them

A fellow gnome transmuter?! I didn't think anybody else played those.

I guess I make three then.:)

Though mine also has spell focus in enchantment. Turn your enemies into goldfish, and then convince them they like it!

Tonguez just leapt up there onto my hero worship list, almost as high as Forrester.

Give me Lidda above some Bilbo-wannabe and day. :p

Sorry, much rather have the hobbit barmaid Rosie from Fellowship of the Rings than Lidda.

BTW, GNOMES KICK ARSE!!! And SO DO ELVES!!!

Make that four- I played a Gnomish Transmuter in a campaign last winter... and I'll tell you what... he's one of the best characters I've ever played.

Gnomes rule... whether they're forest-dwelling illusionists or crazy tinkers... or both (in my campaign)...
