What does this mean?

Revised Player's Handbook allows players to build stronger, more balanced characters.

What does "stronger" mean and why is it a marketing point?

Maybe it means instead of having to take ten swings to take down a dragon, it only takes five.

It means nothing. It's just a "buzz word" to hook newbies and powergamers.

I would be very surprised indeed if the power level of the game was changed at all. In fact, with the inclusion of the errata, I'm betting characters will be slightly weaker.

A good thing in my opinion.
