I know them all, there a are a lot of great metal bands out there and lots that have fantasy realted themes.

I like Rhapsody. Loved their first album. The following two, though, sounded like more of the same thing. They need some sort of evolution before they really catch my interest again.

The very first adventure I ever DM'd was based on the lyrics from Dio's song "Sacred Heart". Great song, lousy first time DM'ing..

One of the best adventures I ever played in was in college, when the DM ran us on an adventure against the baddie from Manowar's "Dark Avenger". Butts were handed out on plates in that one.

Ah, yes... Rhapsody rocketh mightily. So, their new album came out? Now? Bastards... just as I got around to getting Turisas' and Sonata Arctica's new ones... Ah, no rest for the wicked. Towards the music section my wallet goeth. Rhapsody holds a special place in my black and twisted heart for expanding my musical horizons towards the metallic, only a couple of years ago...

Heck, I even remember commenting on a thread BLACKDIRGE started about Scandinavian metal fans that I must be the exception that proves the rule, as I listened almost solely to classical music at the time.
