Rhiannon PBP Rogues gallery

I had lots of Skillpoints at 1st level to spend as Cleric/Sorc. I guess its relative though. Only 2 per level, but if you assign one of your best scores to Int you can get 20-24 sp at first level. Plus a High man gets 6 skill points at first level. & you get 4+int to put in craft/profession. A ranger combo with a high Int would bring tons of skill points and you can emphasise stealth if you want to avoid tankdom.

I have some trepidation about the monk, only because we really havn't established how monk abilites work in Rhiannon. Monk abilites are eastern or alien enough that they beg justification in any world without an eastern. I would see it as being some quasi-secret church group or perhaps the monk abilities are an elvish subculture. As long as u work within the existing Rhiannon framework you could probably add a great deal to both campaigns.

Cleric/Sorc & Pally/Sorc are good class combos due to high Charisma for both. If you prefer Cleric/Sorc, I might play a Pally combo. I've just not played a cleric in 20 years and thought I'd try. My Cleric is definately more diplomat or librarian than warrior. Think bookworm in a more proactive way than Callitheus.

The barbarian combo is difficult, mostly because we established that Barbarians are the non high men. D runs a dwarven barbarian combo, which we justified, but I struggle to see how a high man would be a barbarian anything, though a good enough backstory would resolve this.

We proabably should have discussed what everyone wanted to play last saturday. Oh well...

Relsyn - Cleric / sorcerer (DK)
Inwe - Druid / Rogue (KH)

Zach - play whatever you want, and we will work with it. DK is right, I hope to have little fighting and more character development. There will be sneaking, politics, and city interaction. However, you can't have a campaign without some encounters.

Perhaps Justin is willing to do fighter - I have not heard directly from him yet. I know he has been working on something.

I do not think DL will play often enough to make an interesting character. Perhaps he will play a "tank" as you call it, and I will NPC him if he does not go online enough.

Class

I have made my decision. I am going to go with Urban Warrior/Sorc. The Urban Warrior is from the Path of the Sword d20 book. It is similar to a fighter except that the Urban Warrior has a fewer more skill points, different class skills, less armor proficiencies, and no bonus 1st Lvl feat. If the DM wants a longer write up I can e-mail the full description. I don't want to infringe on copyright issues.

I will get him in here soon.

in-character action

Quick question: when posting actions in the in-character section, should they be as spoilers when they happen away from the party?

spoiler only if done in secret. - e-mail me personnally if you want to start a new thread for a specfic Idea

For the opening - do not use spoilers as we will all "discuss" how we came together eventually.

BTW Tinuvel - what are you doing up at 1:00 AM? You have exams coming up.
Do I sound like a big brother-I-L?

Zachian - that sounds good. I'll trust you to "follow the rules" for now.
I will like clarification now and then OOC if the rules differ from fighter in character play.

Maps

There is a fairly lengthy description of the cities and events but I think we need a map to show others what this world, or at least this part of it, looks like. Can wee get the map posted in the House Rules thread? I think it will help all to see where these cities and land marks are located.
