Gah! Two months? I have to wait two months!? :p

Yup, been at the top of my list for some time. Now it's assured to be my #1 pick!

Been dying for some more Netherese stuff for the campaign I'm running.

I'm in love. I'd marry a book all about Imaskar, but this is good enough for a few torrid months worth of a love affair I think. ;)

Althought it looks interesting, I think it appears to have too broad a reach. I was really hoping for details about Mulhorand, Chessenta, and Unther, like in the 2nd Ed. Old Empires book.....this gives like 1 pg. to many of the places....not too impressive.

Cool concept...but I think they're trying to cover too much in one book.

I'm sure the Mulhorand, Chessenta, and Unther are going to get a much more extensive write up when they do the Old Empires region sourcebook. Just like they did with Shining South, Underdark, and Silver Marches. This supplement is about adventuring in the ruins of ancient kingdoms, not a regional sourcebook like say Silver Marches.

[hyberbole] Wow, Banshee, I think your post has the highest quote-to-post ratio in the history of these boards. [/hyberbole]

I like the broad approach because it leaves more room for individual DMs to customise. Mind you, I also like the 2E level of detail so I'm probably just one of those people who is simply happy to see FR products! ;)

Wwo, so this lookes like a general-use soucebook for DMs on running adventures in ruins and similar locales. Looks very cool. I sorta wish it was simply a D&D book rather than an FR book.

Wow. Considering I've used elements from Amanuator, Moander, Netheril, lost Cormanthyr, and other elements in my current campaign, this looks to be really useful!

Monsters look to be a repetition of what is already in a number of other publications, though.

Wow. Even after the name change, people still thought that this book would be about Chessenta, Unther, and Mulhorand?

I am pretty excited about the book's contents. If anything, it seems that it will nicely sum up a lot of info from a number of 2E books.

The monsters are from MoF and were originally going to be reprinted for 3.5 in PGtF.

Hey Folks! Chessenta, Unther and Mulhorand ARE LOT LOST. Yet. So they can't really be the focus of this book! This book is about empires that are no more and all the goodies they left behind...

Aaron.
