Righteous Wrath

How's it a restriction, though?.

It's a restrictive weapon in so much as it's only truly effective in the hands of a paladin. The fact that I am a paladin is irrelevant.

If you're a paladin wielding the sword, then there's no restriction, right?.
Thus reinforcing my arguement that it IS a restrictive weapon, you have to be a PALADIN in order to realize its true potential, therefore RESTRICTION. I'm unsure how to make this any clearer!!? [/QUOTE]

An analogy would be obtaining a +10 sword that's only +10 when usable by you, but it's +1 when usable by everyone else. There's no restriction when YOU wield it. In fact, it's an advantage much like the weapons in Judge Dredd, usable only by the owners.

As I said, irrelevant. Say I'm NOT a paladin and I find this sword and want to sell it. I will NOT get anywhere near a decent price for it coz the merchant's gonna say, "look pal, it might be a holy, avenging, uber death sword of smiting but I don't know any paladins and to anyone else all its ever gonna be is an atheist, might hold a grudge, walkin stick of might-sting!!! Now all I'm gonna give ya fer it is two grand...take it or leave it."

Moreover, the Holy Avenger costs 60,630 to make, but it's priced at 120,630. There's a big difference.

Still doesn't answer my question with regards to how much extra will it cost to further enhance the sword! :(
