Ring of Blinking ?!?!

If a rogue has a ring of blinking, doesn't that mean that every attack he makes has the potential to be a sneak attack?!?! (since it denies Dex bonus).

Isn't this a wee-bit overpowered for 27K gold?

It's very good, but at that cost, I don't think it's broken.

And it won't work in the outer planes. By the time you can afford it, that might be an important disadvantage...

All the rogue's attacks will be an SA... It is a pretty good ring... but, as noted by I2000, it takes a std. action to activate, and lasts for 7 rounds before it needs to be re-activated... and has a 20% miss chance, to all the Rogue's attacks.

The ring of blinking has no duration limit.
You think? From this?

Activation: Usually, a ring’s ability is activated by a command word (a standard action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity) or it works continually.

I would lean this way...

Blinking: On command, this ring makes the wearer blink, as with the blink spell.
Moderate transmutation; CL 7th; Forge Ring, blink; Price 27,000 gp.
.

Seems like a spell activation item... casting as a 7th level caster, with a duration of 1 round per level.

The FAQ also states a rings duration is based on caster lvl which balances rings out.

I know dcollins doesn't agree with that, but that's RAW.
