I have to agree with thanee, if you have 8 slots anyway then getting a couple of extra different ones is effectively a non-issue, chances are very good you wont need 12 different spells of the same level in one day, and chances are very good you will want duplicates of a couple that are there.

I simply cut the cost of the current rings in half and made them only for people who prepare spells. I made another type of ring for spontaneous casters, and made up something similar to pearls of power for them.

As for the items above, it is really hard to say. But something like the prices you have up there are probably close to ok. The first is obviously fine

keep the 10, 30, 60, 120k and roll with it. 120 is not chump change for anyone, and by the time it is really able to be afforded even 4th level spells dont matter as much.

Yeah, you can get more different spells and you don't need to spend actions as with the pearls (which is their big disadvantage in comparison).

But usually the action is a non-issue, as you will simply refill your repertoire, if used up, which only doesn't work well during combat. By the time you can afford a Ring of Wizardry you usually have enough spells for combat situations, anyways.

Another big advantage of the pearls is, however, that you can use them spontaneously and if you have 4 different spells prepared and half a dozen pearls, you can either cast each spell 2-3 times or one 7 times.

The ring doesn't allow this flexibility, but allows to prepare more different spells. Many different spells is what wizards can do already, flexible distribution of their slots is, what they cannot do. And you still have Scribe Scroll to get more variation.

I'd still choose the pearls, even if you only got about the same number of slots, actually. With two to five times as many slots, it's a no-brainer choice. Only the Ring of Wizardry IV can compete somewhat, but given that it also uses up a ring slot, it really doesn't look good at all.
