1. If an Eladrin Rogue with Two-Weapon Fighting, is wielding a Longsword and a Dagger, can he make the initial Riposte Strike attack with the dagger, and later, the interrupt attack with the longsword?

2. Same question with Rapier instead of Longsword?

The way I read the power, both [W]s in the Hit entry refer to the weapon you're using to satisfy the Weapon keyword of the power... so the riposte will be made with the same light blade as the initial attack.

I'd memorised the power as "make a basic attack...", which would work fine with what you'd suggested.

Since it actually fully specifies the attack you get to make however, the attack has to be with the same weapon you made the riposte strike itself with, and additionally it's subject to the other restrictions of the power (ie - you can't throw your dagger as your riposte, because the power specifies melee).

That's the way I was leaning. It just felt a bit odd.

For instance Rogue attacks a dazed opponent with Riposte Strike, using a dagger. Then spends an action point to throw the dagger at a different opponent and uses quickdraw as a free action to draw a rapier. Suddenly, when it's the opponent's turn, the rogue can't use the interrupt riposte because he no longer has the same weapon in his hand.
