Ritual Epic spells and Eidolon

Ritual epic spells need multiple spellcasters to contribute spell slots. Can these spellcasters use the Epic spell Eidolon to create more spellcasters?

If they have the requisite unused spell slots and will be around and willing for the entire ritual, I don't see why not. On the other hand, are they considered a component? If so, there may be a rule that you can never use an epic spell to create components for use in developing/casting another epic spell. I'll wait for someone with epic rules-fu to give you the details.

Yeah, problem with that is the XP cost. So, in essence, you are trying to get around the XP component which is a big no-no.
