I like them.

I especially like that we have workable approximations of stone/earth shape now. Call me crazy, but I miss the terrain altering spells.

Not bad.

The 10 minute minimum casting time really sucks, though, IMO. Wizard's Curtain would be something really fun, but the 10 minute casting time ruins any comical effect not related to peeping. Preserve Flame could really come in handy during a pinch, but the 10 minute casting time really limits its usefulness.

Need to come up with a decent set of houserules to fix this...

While I think 10 minutes a minimum may have been overboard, they really don't need to be shorter. Rituals aren't supposed to be something you use when the the boulder is rolling down the hill at you.

That said - I daresay you could come to an agreement with your DM that basically says that you can somehow pre-prepare or use rituals instantly in exchange for not abusing that power.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that Brew Potion was now a first level ritual. Then I realized that even the puny 50 gp potion of healing is a level 5 item. What's the use of making the ritual 1st level if there is nothing you can create until 5th level anyway? Shouldn't potion of healing be a first level item?

I really like some of these additions. A level 10 ritual is called "Signal of Pursuit" that lets you charm a door so that you know when the door is opened by anything, and with a 20+ Arcana you know the name of the creature that opened it. (40+ Arcana you see an image.) However, it only lasts 1 hour.

In order to make it permanent, you need a small crystal model of the door within 5 squares. I was thinking well that sucks, anything passing through would just see it and either destroy it or take it for its value. But I'd forgotten "Conceal Object" from earlier in the list that lets you hide something using your Arcana Check +5 (also Level 10.)

I think it'd be interesting to use during a werewolf hunt or any similar situation, warding a special door (to the Mayor's house...?) and then hearing the name of the one that disturbed it, and maybe even an image of the creature in its monstrous form.
