RL stats

Seems as nearly everyone agrees the Int results are out-a-whack, and some agree that str is coming up too low too, and some people (myself included) think its too easy to get a high wis, would someone care to come up with a more detailed or accurate survey?

Perhaps even base it on 3rd ed rules? (I think this one uses 2nd ed guidelines right?)

Ugh. That PhD thing surely boosts my Int. Considering how many strange persons out there do have such a thing...

Strength: Well. Ok. Never was much into weightlifting. I am better at jumping and throwing people around.

Dex: ONLY 17??? That test is crap

Wis: 14.... Well I can remember faces and telephone numbers from years ago but not the names.

Con: 11. Right. I can't take too much punches and rely more on my dex. I am neither often sick nor extraordinary healthy.

Chr: 16. Thanks guys. Hmm.

I think a big problem of that test is (and the reason behind those rather fine stats), you can answer most questions with a Yes, BUT...

I'll gonna ask my DM if I can take those stats for the next char.

Hmm, well this test was interesting. By the way, the Int rating is broken- you put in just a degree level and it gives you a high Int (I have a PhD), but put in the IQ score (even if you're about the 150 level) and you look like a dunce!

Really now I must protest, I am not a body builder but I can out wrastle most people I know...

D'oh thats what I get fer not a go-in ta College (my College educated friends often say things like "You really mean you never graduated from High School? Why not?" I answer: the system man, the system...)

Wis: 14
About right... maybe a bit high (I often space out and fail to pay attention to what I am doing)

Dex: 13
About right, might be a bit low... considering I am pretty fast, but a touch clumsy (which comes more from not paying attention to what I am doing)

Con: 14
A bit high, the Marathon type ?'s were misleading... (I did run them, when I was 12... its been a long couch life since then-and about 150 pounds...)

Chr: 16
Wow considering my absolutely misleading track record with only dating Psycho-Chics... Hmmm, must look into the Wisdom score on that one...


I am thinking Sorceror. Its really my only choice... (and all this time I saw myself as a Laborer... hmmph, I guess digging all those ditches only lowered my Str...)

Heh I figured out what inflated the Con and dropped my Str... apparently I'm a Gnome. After all I can inbibe tremendous amounts of alcohol and keep going, and of course I am stronger than the average Gnome with a 9, so Gnome Sorceror it is...

45 point buy. Can't argue with that, although the low-INT is sort of insulting.

Ranger? Monk! YAY!

At first level I'd get an AC of 15 and do 1d6+4 damage unarmed. w00t! By 8th level, +1 CON and +1 WIS... a nice, well-rounded albeit not brilliant Monk.

I had my heart set on Sorcerer, but I don't make the grade.

The Int thing is fairly screwed. Even you you enter a vast IQ, but you have a low standard of schooling (becasue, let's say your 14, 16,18 or whatever) you get a low INT score.

You can lose out on DEX if you are to young to have a license etc

In fact the test is ageist. I demand a re-test on grounds of age based descrimination!

Int: 13 -- Err what? I know I am in the top 3% INT wise, as every school student around here has to do grading tests on english and math skills. The INT test is really stupid.

Wis: 17 -- There is NO way my wisdom is this high!
Dex: 13
Con: 14
Chr: 10

Looks like I have a career as a cleric in front of me. Ironic fact: My current PC has a very similar stat line, with a few extra points of INT and CHR.

The exact conversions is 1 lbs = 0.45359237 kg, but a useful fast conversion rule is to divide the lbs score by two.
