Who am I you ask? I am a graphic designer who recently worked for WotC, but I got the corporate boot. Now I'm free to design YOUR product.

You'll recognize my work in the Forgotten Realms series of rulebooks/supplements/modules, Call of Cthulhu (for which I won an ENnie), the forthcoming Book of Vile Darkness, the Masters of Dragonlance Art book, as well as an assload of our novels.

Plus, I'm affordable!

Hey, you just *have* to respect a man that puts the word "assload" in his resume. :p

Seriously though, I'm sorry to hear of your being let-go and I wish you the best of luck in garnering a new position somewhere soon.

:)

I'm just happy that you're on board for Mystic Eye's Raw Recruits Mr. Campbell. An ENNie, former WotC layout man working on something my name's in makes me do the happy dance. :) Welcome to the wonderful world of freelancing.

What I want to know is why do these guys have post counts of 1? Rob, and Todd Lockwood both. What, you too good for ENWorld while you had a job, but now that you're looking, you're gonna pay us a visit?

hmmph!

:)

I'd cut them some slack.

If their positions at WotC were anything like mine at SJG they probably didn't have much time or energy for posting on message boards.

I can understand why they'd be here when they're looking for work.

If anything, it shows how valuable these message boards are if they come here looking for work.

Hell, I should post my resume and see what happens.

I find it very encouraging....

You think the folks hit from most layoffs have a receptive community to turn to for support?

This is a minor miracle we have here. How much does it say about ENworld that we have Todd Lockwood looking for a job on our site? Heck, methinks almost anyone can turn here for a helping hand...unless they're former Hasbro employees, mayhap...

I think die kluge meant it as a jest since he had the happy face in the post ;)

Also, welcome to ENWorld Rob! I hope you come to enjoy our little community here and take the time to get involved in the conversations! Take Care!

I think helping Hand might be the wrong word for it.

Job opportunities.

Perhaps Morrus should consider the possibility of making a forum just for that. Freelancers looking for work. Shifting the open call posts over there would be useful too.

So far I must say Robert has been a pleasure to work with, he is working on our first Dragonstar item---Raw Recruits (even before the WoTC debacle) and we will continue to use him, so try not to take too many offers...... :D

And he says assload
