The gangs all back

Camper, cornier, cheesier and more evil than ever (well the evil characters anyway).

Good episode. The Baddies seem to have learned somewhat and showed new competence, and a big long term plot.

Good one-liners, except the snake joke which was awful

Ep2 looks jolly two so am looking forward to the rest of the series

Yeah, I only saw it was on by chance. Bad work on the part of the BBC, that.

The good:

The show's a lot darker than it was. There was definately a sense of the gloves being off.

The show picked up pretty much where it left off. Since the previous season finished a lot stronger than it started, that was a good thing.

The show is clearly building an arc here, rather than just going for stand-alone episodes. Good stuff.

The bad:

"My gang". Not a fan.

Robin can apparently now

fire spears from his bow, and around corners no less!

I wasn't keen on that either.

But the big one: The Sheriff's "Doctor Evil" moment.

Not only did he explain his nefarious plan with the good guy in the room, but he then placed Robin in an easily-escaped death trap and left, assuming everything would go according to plan.

Other than that, though, it was a lot of fun. Glad to see it back.

yeah the firing moment reminding me of something similar in the Season 1 pilot.

Did start off pretty dark, hope they kinda keep it that way.

has been advertised for a few weeks. One advert looks like it has a cyberman in it. Im pretty sure they shot/advertised that way given its in the Dr Who time slot.
