Robin IV?!

Well, that's yet to be actually confirmed. We know that the JLverse Batman's
Robin is in the Teen Titans from a comment made in the Static Shock cartoon.
Whether that is the same Teen Titans is of course a matter of opinion.

I keep reading that sentance, but fail to see the connection. Huh?

Let me see if I understand it correctly:

JLverse = Batman the Animated Series, Superman Adventures, Justice League, Teen Titans

If Teen Titans happens after the events in Batman the Animated Series, the last Robin was Tim Drake.

I know the Robin from the Teen Titans comic was Dick Grayson, the orginal. Not sure if the Cartoon Network Robin is the same one thou.

That's right, except on two points.

You can add Static Shock to the JLverse, and I don't think Teen Titans is the same universe. Pretty sure of it actually.

Dick Grayson was a member of the Teen Titans. Tim Drake was a member of Young Justice. The Titans disbanded and eventually several members formed the Outsiders with Dick Grayson (Nightwing) as leader. Around the same time, Young Justice disbanded and some members formed a new Teen Titans with Tim Drake as a member.

Which Teen Titans comic? There's been like six to seven incarnations of it :) Robin is Dick Grayson in the comic until Tales of the New Teen Titans #44, when he becomes Nightwing. Jason becomes Robin, briefly; he's even involved with the Titans a few times, but not a lot. He dies, and by that time the Titans had ceased being teens and new people filtered into the mix. Robin/Tim Drake joined Young Justice, which just recently became the most recent incarnation of the Teen Titans. Covers at least indicate that Steph will join them as the new Robin, at least briefly. Or at least make appearances.

In Batman: TAS, Robin started as being Dick, then was replaced by Tim; no Jason Todd. It's pretty easy to see when.

The Cartoon Network TT is a totally different universe as far as I know and we have no idea where Batman is or who Robin is; the producer has said that the secret ID's are not something they're going to go in to, at least yet. What Teen Titans Go! (the comic based on the show) might have in it, I have no idea.

From another interview, with Sam Register, Cartoon Network senior vice president of original animation
And just who is under the mask? Is it Tim Drake? Dick Grayson? Jason Todd?

"He's just Robin. We never say which Robin he is. To be honest we've never even discussed it," Register said. "Again, that's for clarity for the kids. We're not doing alter egos. They walk around town in their suits. They go to movies dressed as super heroes. Everyone sees them as super heroes. The go to a party as super heroes. They're super heroes full time."

Cool synopsis WayneLegion.

Can you give any info regarding the whole Slade (Deathstroke) / Robin thing in the Teen Titans animated series?

I think the whole concept is cool, but is the same in the original comics?

Anyone know why DC Comics decided to change Robin in the first place?
