Not only all of the above, but HG doesn't even have their own stuff straight as far as regular Robotech continuity sometimes.

The robotech books were written by three authors using a single pseudonym (Jack McKinnley if I recall correctly). One of the writers was really good (Brian Daley), one was OK, and one was awful. Not sure if Macek was the OK or the Awful one.

Or I may be thinking of another team project that Brian Daley worked with.
