SEX, DRUGS, & ROCK N ROLL!!!

Yes, the original play has all of those in abundance (check out the needle tracks on Frank's arm in the Roxy (L.A.) cast album).

But for the movie, they really toned down the drug use. At least they got great amounts of sex & rock-n-roll in the movie.

The new RHPS will be Ziggy Stardust and the Spiderwomen from Mars, coming out shortly to a theatre near you.

Trust me, I am right about this one. I saw it during the LA film festival, and it's gonna FLY with the midnight-teen crowd.

I have to bump this because I remember hearing about RHBS.

IMDB isn't listing it, so I'm curious, who else has seen it? Is there a snowball's chance in hell it'll released on DVD?

The article I read even mentioned they would be cutting to live parties across the nation- similar to what MTV did for the 25th anniversary.

The 25th Anniversary specials were great, MTV did a great job of preserving the irreverence needed for Rocky Horror. Caught the movie several times myself back in the early 1980's in Boston at an old time theater that has long since passed on. Caught it once in the last 1980's at a modern theater in Cambridge but it wasn't the same experience.

I think its going to be hard for them to remake it and capture the awful cheesyness of the movie. Often times it ends up with them trying too hard. It won't help that their using made for TV actors.
