Groundless Speculation: I wouldn't be to surprised if Dungeoneering were a class skill for all classes.
Honestly I'm surprised the Rogue didn't get Dragoneering, too. I hope the other classes do.

Another possibilty - wishful thinking here - is that all characters can select a number of skills, derived from their intelligence, from a general skill list beyond those skills available to them via choice of class.

This building rule would be defined in another section and not necessarily in each class write-up.

That was my assumption from the moment the article didn't say 4+Int bonus skills - that extra skills gained from a high Int bonus (or being human) were picked either from the full skill list or from a subset of it available to characters of a particular race and/or background. It might make it a little more complicated but allowing any elf to select 'Survival', or any eladrin to select 'Arcane Knowledge', would be a sensible way to differentiate the races. I could even see it being used based on where your background says the character cmes from. Anyone from a city might be able to pick Streetwise, say.

But then I played Traveller editions where you rolled up a random homeworld and gained some skills accordingly, so this may be wishful thinking.

I don't think, if there is INT bonus to skills, that it will be by race for 2 reasons. 1. it is complicated but doesn't add much and 2. Nothing of the sort mentioned in the elf preview.
So I reckon if there is INT bonus it will be choose from all the skills list

As many others, I think that it's six skills total.

No matter the interpretation, it is a bit strange that stealth and thievery are repeated among the skills from which you can choose...

I suspec they just wanted to include them there as a complete reference to the rogue skill set. It might become important when, for example, multiclassing Perhaps characters that multiclass to rogue don't get Stealth and Thievery automatically. Wild speculation, I know, so I suspect it's the former. Or just really bad editing.

I have to agree with mach1.9pants, if there are bonus skills for high Int, they will be from the entire list or a large generic list to help you consolidate your character background. As in, all the knowledge-esque skills, survival, streetwise and such, but perhaps not thievery available to everyone intelligent enough.
