Which makes the fictional EQ currency more valuable than the Japanese yen! And simply based on the real world dollar amounts being traded for in-game items, EQ has a GNP on par with Bulgaria!! And EQ doesn't even exist outside of cyberspace!! Absolutely fascinating!
I completely agree, I'm still not sure what side of the debate I fall on, but I think it's about the most interesting internet related news item I've heard of in a long time.
