Roleplaying my character's stat

The Play's the thing - Robin Laws

In Issue 288 (worth a look are issues 289 and 290 too) of Dragon Magazine.

You will find the first of a three part exploration into "Ability Combos". Issue 288 gives examples of how to role play various INT-WIS-CHA combinations. I liked all three articles and found the information insightful. Issue 289 covers more of INT-WIS-CHA traits and 290 covers STR-DEX-CON traits.

The articles are all a few pages so I hope I can just point out something you already have or maybe can get through a buddy or ordering a magazine backissue etc. However, if you are unable to get access to the articles just let me know and I might scan it (shhhh! don't tell the WOTC lawyers!) or poke it in for you.

The articles are in line with some of the information already posted above but more in deapth.

Hope that helps?

(Edited for my poor grammar!)

Well you could play him as my medium int-low wis charachter. He has ideas and suggests them without evaluating feasibility, and shrugs it off if anyone shows why they are wrong. He asks for spells that people have cast in the past with no clue if they can produce them now or suggests uses for them that are plausable but counter to the rules.. He does extremely impulsive things in combat.

Your charachter might be uncreative, but see wak points in plans. Although he would not be inovative, he would fight with sound if uncreative tactics from his book applied to the new situation. He may follow instinct and experiance very well, but have difficulty understanding and following different ones.
